This enchanting Kentucky winter wedding was one of those days where everything just seems to fall into perfect synchronicity! I've always DREAMED of photographing a wedding couple in the snow, and on this day my dream came true! Of course, with snow comes the cold, and let me tell you - I MEAN COLD! With the high being in the low teens, I nervously (you know - that kind-of excited nervous!) asked Liz & Ross if they were willing to brave the cold for just a few minutes in order to capture some epic snow wedding photos! Of course they were completely in - silly me! My couples are generally the fun & adventurous types that trust me to do whatever it takes to have those beautiful & unique wedding photos! The day began with getting ready at the only hotel in Louisville with "invisible service" - The Bellwether on Bardstown Road. It's got such a cute retro-posh vibe that we just couldn't resist capturing their first look inside! After that , it was off to Cherokee Park for some photos in the snow! The wedding was held at the gorgeous & historic St. James Church in the highlands of Louisville, and finally - we finished off this beautiful winter day with a candle-lit reception at the Olmsted!
