Elopement at The Red River Gorge in Kentucky
Daisy reached out to me with the desire to elope in a beautiful, isolated place in Kentucky with just a few of her closest family & friends. Right away, I suggested one of my favorite get-away spots and only a 2 hour drive from Louisville - The Red River Gorge! Not only is it beautiful and super photogenic, I grew up coming here on my family vacations so I had lots of locations in mind in the area that would be perfect! Originally, we planned for them to exchange their vows at the top of natural bridge, but because of weather conditions and a few other time constraints we ended up choosing a different location at the very last minute - this secret overlook that I know about and that you'll see pictured below! It turned out even better than the original plan because we had the spot to ourselves and ended up finishing up their couples session afterward at Sky Bridge! All in all, it turned out to be the perfect day and my little photographer's heart went pitter-patter when I saw the final results of the photos and got to hear Daisy exclaim "WOW I am crying tears of joy - I cannot believe these are OUR pictures! My house is gonna be covered in these!"
