Marengo Cave Elopement in Southern Indiana : Devyn & Jonathan
Let's talk about UNIQUE places to say "I do!" From the moment that these two adventurous souls got in touch with me, I knew it was going to be such an epic day! First of all, let me take a moment to clear up some of the confusion; the word "elopement" doesn't mean what it used to. It’s no longer about running away & getting married in secret. Today, eloping is about getting married in a way that reflects your relationship, in a way that makes you happy, in a place that is meaningful to you. No old-fashioned checklists, stressful planning or pressure from the in-laws required. Just you, your beloved, and a magical place to call your own. And wouldn't you agree that these two adorable lovebirds definitely chose a magical place?! Honestly, I'd never even heard of it until they contacted me! And this hidden gem is less than an hour drive from Louisville, Kentucky! Devyn & Jonathan pronounced their personal, hand-written vows (ummm yeah I cried, I'm a sap, ok???) in this stunning location designated "the crystal palace" inside of this cave system! Jonathan's best friend married them, we took some unique shots inside the cave, and then we finished up their couple shoot in the lush green forest up above! CAN I JUST SAY: I LOVE ELOPEMENTS!!!
